Trade Center Attacks

Many people were affected by the bombings because of the economic, physical, and emotional effects that it had on people.   Our local area, states, and nation were all affected by this tragedy and everyone around the world knew about it.   I feel that more money should have been put or should be put into the losses that the country experienced in the attacks.   Some of the ways people were affected by this was also by losing loved ones.   This not only kept thousands of people out of work and school but left businesses without workers and insurance companies to pay for all the damage done.   This put the country into an economic crisis.   Many of the nations leading companies were put to the test when this happened because of the number of businesses that were in the World Trade Center.   Five major points of economic impact were the human and physical capital, disruption of economic activities, shift in the confidence of consumers, and allocation of resources in the longer run.   According to a world economic and social survey the longer run consequences are likely to be of greater economic significance than the immediate effects.   Our economy slowed down for a few weeks and even months when this happened.   Not only did it effect the economy but other parts like the military and political persons.   It amplified the already existing uncertainties about the short-term global outlook.   This meaning that everyone is now stepping back to look at the different possibilities that could come of this.   This also affected other countries as well.   Different regions of the world are likely to feel the negative impacts of the slowdown.   Other negative impact tat this tragedy had on our nation includes the psychological effects that it had on people. Reports that 52% felt depressed and 62% had restless sleep.
