Abstract

The universe had many people wondering what is going on out there, how it got there, and why it’s there. Scientists had put forth a lot of money and time to help figure out this problem and came up with the solution, The Big Bang Theory. The theory was discovered by Edwin Hubble as the early expansion of the universe. The theory was mainly about how the universe was once a small tiny speck and it was very hot and dense that one day this tiny dot exploded forming after billions of years this vast universe that we live in. Even though this theory had answered many questions, it had also stirred commotions and uproars to different religions around the world. The religions argued that God had created it all and we should all praise God. This has also caused many people to question their faith and confused on whether to follow God or trust science that has been proven. Even though The Big Bang is just a theory, many people have proven this same statement to make the theory more believable. Big Bang theory is shown with facts and data, but with religion, everything is answered by God. The Big Bang Theory not only conflicts with religion, but also proves some points given by the religions it conflicts such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc. Some hints of the Big Bang are shown in the holy books of these religions.
