Good morning to my English teacher, Madam Sally and my fellow friends. Today, my talk today will deal primarily about the benefits of healthy eating. Nowadays, people wonders about what is actually counted as healthy eating ? Apparently, some of them do not even care about it nor knowing it. Healthy eating simply means the aid in the growth of the body while improve functions of the body which provide the protection from diseases and helps in building strong immune system. Healthy eating is very beneficial to our lives. First of all, it can prevent a person from getting most types of health problems. Most of us know that the greatest benefits of eating healthy are that we stay physically fit, feel better, and have fewer illnesses. We can lower our risk of illnesses like high blood sugar, Gall Bladder disease, and high blood pressure. Another benefit of eating healthy is being able to maintain a healthy weight. Besides, eating healthy is one of the easiest ways to higher our level of energy in the body. Especially breakfast, we start the day with the right food so we have strength on that day. As for the students, healthy breakfast would boost their concentration in the class throughout the day. It’s good to know our class member does take their breakfast every morning! Next, healthy eating is an effective way to lose weight. You can lose as much as 20 pounds after several weeks of following a good healthy diet. You need not also starve yourself or take medication. If you stick to healthy foods, you can eat and still lose weight. At the same time, healthy eating also helps you to handle stress. Stress can take its toll on your health. That is a fact. However, by eating right and taking care of yourself, you can reduce that stress to a manageable level and increase your productivity and enjoyment of life.
