Becoming a Graphic Artist
There are many academic areas I am interested in while in college. I have declared my major as being a Graphic Artist, because I want to learn how to design my own video games, I want to create the art like crafts and techniques, and it was just something I have always been inspired by. I want to help make an organization recognizable by selecting color, images, or logo designs that represent a particular idea or identity to be used in advertising and promotions. A Graphic Artist creates visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers and that’s what inspired me to become one. The First reason, I'm interested to become a Graphic designer because I want to learn how to design my own video games. Video games are my passion because the graphics covers a broad range of art forms. The Graphics in a video game is typically two-dimensional and includes calligraphy, photography, drawing, painting, printmaking, lithography, typography, serigraphy (silk-screen printing), and bindery. Graphics also consists of drawn plans and layouts for interior and architectural designs. Since I'm drawing pretty well I want to learn how to create the character for the game, the plot, the setting, and the background for the game. Learning how to design a video game requires artistic and technical competence as well as writing skills like writing dialogue, text, and story.

The Second reason, I'm interested to become a Graphic designer because I want to create the art like the techniques and crafts. The meaning for Graphics are the production of visual statements on some surface like for example, wall, canvas, pottery, computer screen, paper, stone or landscape.
