I.INTRODUCTION

Eastern Visayas has 84 public and private resorts combined, among these resorts only 10 are classified as tertiary resorts.
The truth of the matter is that some of them had been neglected due to lack of facilities and manpower in those primary and secondary resorts.
Through these factors, the proposal of establishing a resort in the area would create a great impact not just to drain people to Catbalogan but as an integral part to promote and assess the economic growth of the town, thus to recreate business, a crucial study and investigation is needed to enable the town to maintain and survive through its life span securing its assets.

This also aims to understand more about the subject and its application, and knowledge which will help in the computation in real life situation analysis in considering engineering proper. Since the authors have limited knowledge about this, it would be a pleasure for them to accept comments and suggestions if ever errors were found in the book especially to those who are knowledgeable that may further help enrich the contents of this book.

A.PRODUCT OR SERVICES

The proposed project is a beach resort that will comprise different structures namely as follows: 3-storey hotel and restaurant, mini bar, dock, drainage, manmade river pool and other amenities. With all these structures, it will provide the consumer the experience of hospitality, exotic, native, and unforgettable views it has. It is different from the other resort for we give emphasis not only on the strength of the structure but also to the aesthetics; this is due to the combination of the motif of modern, romantic, Mediterranean, and native design. It will bring comfort to the costumer because it has complete facilities such as fully-air conditioned hotel, utility rooms, male and female comfort rooms, villas, swimming pools, artificial falls, and fountain, environmental friendly and native-modern cottages. It will also give comfort and satisfaction to the customer/tourist, and owners of the villas, because it will sustain the needs and wants of people. The resort will also provide clinic for customers, tourist and praying room for spiritual enlightenment. A cooperative type beach resort operation where there are different owners but follow the same development and management plan.

With such bases, it obvious that one of the main target market are the foreign people. In our project proposal it will comprise three main parties who will benefit the proposed project, the foreign people, domestic and economy of the Philippines. Most foreign people would like to experience warm hospitality and kindness, the natural attraction and the amenities offered by the business.
