WHAT IS A SITE?
In Telecom field a site means a physical place where a telecom tower, antenna systems, BTS, Feeder cable, connector, jumper cable, Battery bank, Shelter, Diesel generator and many other equipments which are required to perform telecom operations collectively exists in one place. HOW TO SUPPLY POWER TO A SITE?

THERE ARE THREE WAYS OF SUPPLYING POWER TO A SITE—
Normal power Supply
Through Diesel Generator(DG) which provide 15kw power
Through Battery bank which provide 24 volt or 48 volt DC supply

IDENTIFICATION OF TELECOM EQUIPMENTS THROUG SNAPS
1.TELECOM TOWER

2.SHELTER ROOM- Inside this shelter we generally installed our BTS SYSTEMS, POWER PLANT, BATTERY BANK and other telecom equipments.
3.TELECOM EQUIPMENTS INSIDE THE SHELTER OR (INDOOR EQUIPMENTS)
4.OUTDOOR EQUIPMENTS

SOME IMPORTANT TERMS:
1.ORIENTATION OF ANTENNA—In Telecom field, we assume the North direction as a base direction i.e starting point or zero degree.

* Maximum no. of sectors can be used is SIX whereas normally only THREE sectors are used. * To set the direction of sectors, we used clock wise number system i.e, A,B and C.

2.CLATTER—It distinguish between number of users or in terms of density in a particular area like Urban Clatter, Semi-Urban Clatter & Rural Clatter. 3.ANTENNA—It is an telecom equipment which is used to provide telecom network coverage...
