Banana (Musa acuminata) Peel and Gumamela (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) Petals as Shoe Polish
Introduction

According to Wikipedia, durian is the fruit of several tree species belonging to the genus Durio. There are 30 recognized Duriospecies, at least nine of which produce edible fruit. Durio zibethinus is the only species available in the international market: other species are sold in their local regions.
Regarded by many people in Southeast Asia as the "king of fruits", the durian is distinctive for its large size, strong odor, and formidable thorn-covered husk. The fruit can grow as large as 30 centimeters (12 in) long and 15 centimeters (6 in) in diameter, and it typically weighs one to three kilograms (2 to 7 lb). Its shape ranges from oblong to round, the color of its husk green to brown, and its flesh pale yellow to red, depending on the species.
Background of the study
And now the rainy season has begun, dengue will be a major problem in our community. This chart of dengue cases was from 2011 to 2013.

That’s why I and my group mates had decided to make a research about durian as a mosquito repellent.

Significance of the study According to a blog post at HubPages, if durian smell is not a problem, you can also use durian husks as a natural mosquito repellent. In some areas in the country people put some husks in a basket and place it in the corner. Change them regularly to get effective result specially when you think the husks start to produce unwanted odor, you can change them with new ones.
Skin of durian can be utilized as a mosquito repellent drug, to deal with a rash onto the skin (scab) as well as bowel problems (constipation). This uncommon fruit skin was burned along with the ashes utilized in potions for the launch period. Besides durian skin can be used like the ashes of the good scrub, dry manner dried up as well as burnt to pieces.(HealthBenefitstimes.com) Statement of the problem

Treatment of acute dengue is supportive, using either oral or intravenous rehydration for mild or moderate disease, and intravenous fluids and blood transfusion for more severe cases. The incidence of dengue fever has increased dramatically since the 1960s, with around 50–100 million people infected yearly. Early descriptions of the condition date from 1779, and its viral cause and the transmission were elucidated in the early 20th century. Dengue has become a global problem since the Second World War and is endemic in more than 110 countries. Apart from eliminating the mosquitoes, work is ongoing on a vaccine, as well as medication targeted directly at the virus.…

Pithecellobium dulce is a tree that reaches a height of about 10 to 15 m (33 to 49 ft). Its trunk is spiny and its leaves are bipinnate. Each pinna has a single pair of ovate- blong leaflets that are about 2 to 4 cm (0.79 to 1.57 in) long. The flowers are greenish-white, fragrant, sessile and reach about 12 cm (4.7 in) in length, though appear shorter due to coiling. The flowers produce a pod, which turns pink when ripe and opens to expose an edible pulp. The pulp contains black shiny seeds that are circular and flat.…

Beginning in the 1980s, dengue fever began to increase in the Far East and Africa. Outbreaks were not related to economic conditions. For example, Singapore had an outbreak of dengue fever from 1990 to 1994, even after a mosquito control program that had kept the disease at minimal levels for over two decades. The example of Singapore illustrates the importance of an…

Most Americans lose little sleep over dengue fever. The mosquito-borne infection is a leading killer in the tropics and subtropics, but it’s been a long-held belief that ubiquitous air-conditioning, few open windows and limited time outdoors protects us from dengue. And in fact, for the past century most U.S. cases (except those near the Texas–Mexico border) were isolated to immigrants or travelers. In recent years, however, locally acquired cases of the disease have started to appear in pockets of the U.S. Now, researchers fear dengue could be gaining a significant foothold here.…
