Bananas are one of the most delicious and nutritious fruit in the world. They come in variety of sizes and colors when ripe, including green, yellow, purple, and red. They are native to Southeast Asia, and are likely to have been first domesticated in Papua New Guinea. Today, they are cultivated throughout the tropics such as Philippines, Mexico, etc. They are grown, primarily, for their fruit, and to a lesser extent to make fiber, banana wine, and ornamental purposes. Today, they are known for their sweet taste, good nutritional properties with their high content in potassium and fibers (and vitamins such as B6, C and A), and best of all their ease of use: just peel and eat!

As we all know, bananas are highly rich in vitamins and minerals which are beneficial for our health, keeping us fit and healthy round the year. But, don’t you know that these benefits are not just limited to health but also extend up to beauty treatments as well? Well, don’t be surprised because it’s their undemanding measure of vitamins and minerals which can be very useful in general hair and skin care such as repairing dry and sun-damaged hair and skin. Even the damages caused by exposure to dirt, pollution and other environmental toxins can be treated with bananas. In addition, they can also protect the skin and hair from further damage. Thus, they can be the solution to major problems on skin (such as dry skin, acne, blemishes and pimples, ageing, and skin flaking) and hair (such as split ends, breakage, dry and frizzy hair, dandruff, and even hair loss) not only because of their contents but also because, first, they are economical and inexpensive, and, second, they are very safe and there is no use of chemicals in them. Not yet satisfied? Better see the result. Happy reading!

Due to excessive exposure to dirt, pollution, other environmental toxins, and especially the sun, many people experience problems on skin (such as dry skin, acne, blemishes and pimples, ageing, and skin flaking) and hair (such as split ends, breakage, dry and frizzy hair, dandruff, and even hair loss). We have the solutions to these problems but most of these solutions are very costly and are only available at expensive stores, or spas and/or salons. And many people cannot afford to buy such. Aside from this, some of these solutions contain chemicals and are not very safe for skin and hair.

General Objective:
This study aims to produce an effective, natural, and bio-hazard chemical-free hair conditioner, and skin moisturizer and exfoliating facial mask in just one product.

Specific Objectives:
Specifically, this study has 5 main objectives. This aims:
1.To prove that banana, with the little help of honey, can be an effective beauty treatment for skin(moisturizing, exfoliating, anti-acne action, anti-aging, sunburn aid, etc.) as well as for hair(creates manageability, shine and growth, prevents split ends, breakage and hair loss, and controls dry, frizzy hair or flaky scalp and dandruff), thus, producing a product with many uses. 2.To produce a fruit product that is mild, safe for all skin types and has no side effects even on long-use term and, definitely, that all may use this product and may be satisfied with its effects. 3.To manufacture a product that has main ingredients which can easily be found in our homes and backyards or in stores and markets. 4.To produce an excellent and effective fruit product using cheap and economical ingredients such as banana. 5.And, lastly, to show its potential as an income generating business....
