Fitties live longer than Couchies
People are often separated into two categories, Athletic People and Couch Potatoes.   Athletic People (Fitties) live a healthier lifestyle than Couch Potatoes (Couchies). Fitties spend much of their time keeping their body in shape with exercise and healthy eating habits. Couchies prefer spending their time sitting in front of the television, consuming fast food, chips and candy.   The recipe to enjoy a long and hearty life is to stay fit.   Therefore, Couchies often have to deal with a multitude of health issues, ranging from aches and pains, to life threatening diseases.
A Fittie schedules exercise several times a week his calendar, exercise is a part of his or her everyday life. Fitties enjoy various forms of exercise. Some go to the gym and work out on machines and with weights. In the gym, they may run on the treadmill, take a virtual bike-tour, climb on the stepper or participate in an aerobic class. Some Fitties swim laps. Other Fitties enjoy playing sports with a partner or on a team. Competition motivates many people to give their all and exhaust themselves. Outdoors activities are especially popular for a Fittie’s family. Children love to undertake a walk or bike-tour with their parents. This is an easy way for a Fittie to encourage their child to exercise.
Fitties are very aware of what they consume. They eat wholesome foods and believe in a well-balanced diet.   Junk food is a red flag. Other than salad, they will not eat anything at places like McDonalds, Burger King, or Kentucky Fried Chicken. Their diet usually consists of low-calorie and low-fat foods.   They avoid excessive saturated fat and trans fat while maintaining a good ratio between carbohydrates and lipids. They make sure to take an essential amount of vitamins and certain minerals daily. Consequently they eat large quantities of fruits, vegetables, fish and meat, and small portions of pasta, bread and rice.
