“For calculating equity in affiliates, when I forecast into
FY2008-FY2012, I am multiplying FY2007 equity in affiliates by PE of 19x?”
“I would like to know that do we have to write a title for this assignment and what the title is ?
Is that still the "valuation of Air thread connection" or anything else?” “How detail should the appraisal should be?”
“Unsure if capital expenditure for
2007 to be calculate as Total assest -Total Liabilities?”

Structure the report in a format that is conventional and suitable for the purpose, which is an appraisal of an investment proposal conducted by a company external consultant. The detailed outline would be informed by one’s approach to the case.
Assets that are not being used in current operations, or whose cash flows are not operating in nature, can be ignored.
Accordingly, you can safely assume that investments in affiliates is not part of ‘Air Thread’s’ current operations.
