There was a very big tree that was curve to the swamp surrounded with lots of tree.
It was like a small forest in the (a) big city for me.
That was one of the pictures I found in my childhood (memory ko thiết ở đây).
My friend invented( dùng found sẽ hợp lí hơn, bạn cháu ko thể phát minh ra 1 thứ đã có sẵn được) this place.
My friend found this place.
It was far from our house about thirty minutes on walk.  chú nghĩ dùng thế này sẽ đỡ rối hơn:
It took us 30’ to get there on foot.
( ngta ngầm hiểu nó xa nhà cháu 30’ đi bộ, và ko dùng on walk, phải on foot.)
When I saw this place at the first time, it was really a wonderful place. ( nếu nói như vầy, nghĩa là lần đầu cháu thấy, nơi này rất đẹp; ngta sẽ đặt câu hỏi THẾ NHỮNG LẦN SAU THÌ KO ĐẸP NỮA HAY SAO?)
When I saw this place at the first time, I thought it was really/ such a wonderful place.
There was nobody here[, except (just only)] but (muốn nhấn mạnh thì dùng BUT- BUT ở đây ko có nghĩa là nhưng, nghĩa là MÀ CHỈ CÓ) a big swamp and lots of trees.
 There was nobody there but a big swamp and lots of trees./ There were just a big tree with a swamp and noone else./ Nobody was there, just a big tree and a swamp.
But the one thing that was noticeable me and my friends was the big tree that was curve to the swamp.
We were noticeable in the big tree that curved to the swamp ( chú ko rõ ý cháu là gì, nhưng nếu là diễn tả cái cây chồm ra ngoài cái đầm thì dùng THAT WAS CURVE TO THE SWAMP ko đúng, chú chỉ sửa phần đầu câu thôi)
Its shiny green leaves and green blanket kept me cool in muggy summer days.
Its shiny green leaves were like a green blanket that kept me….
The tree would often dance in the wind, shaking its branches shook everytime the wind blew over, that made the leaves fall.
Everytime there was a wind blew over, this tree shook its branches to the left then to the right just like it was dancing with the wind. That made some leaves fall down.
This was so attractive that passers-by

The book begins with the description of a tree in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on a summer afternoon in 1912. “The one tree in Francie’s yard was neither a pine nor a hemlock. It had pointed leaves which grew along green switches which radiated from the bough and made a tree which looked like a lot of opened green umbrellas. Some people called it the Tree of Heaven. No matter where its seed fell, it made a tree which struggled to reach the sky. It grew in boarded-up lots and out of neglected rubbish heaps and it was the only tree that grew out of cement. It grew lushly, but only in the tenements districts” (Smith…

The lake was surrounded by all kinds of trees: sugar maple tree, camphor tree, etc. At the center of the lake, there were a few huge trunks lied down the peaceful lake. On the trunks, there were some ducks “quack” around as if they were planning to have a sunbath party. Around those the ducks, there were a few birds hovering in the blue sky. The gale force winds ripped the trees from their roots; like a dancer on the cliffs, leaves decorating its branches like multi-coloured sequins on a tribal dress summoning the rain. With the swiftness and speed of a baby gazelle but with the power of an ox, the tree hurtled to the ground. Like it had been stabbed from the back by a solder.…

The Oak and the Elm Tree

In nature, the oaks hold their own well in competition with the other trees. The oak is a large tree growing to heights of thirty-five to one hundred feet tall. Their leaves are of the most dramatic in shape, which are described as being pinnately veined and pinnately lobed. Meaning the main vein runs through the leaf to its tip and smaller veins branch out, also having deep wavy outline indentations which extend half way or more to the midrib, giving it a hand-like feature. In contrast, the American elm is also a large tree that grows to a height of forty to ninety feet tall and has a simple, short oval shaped leaf that is saw-toothed and lopsided at the base. The trunk of both trees is described as being similar in most ways, thick and covered with furrowed gray bark. The trunks grow lateral with broad branches opening up into a beautiful crown. In time, these dome-headed trees will spread its branches needing a lot of growing space for the canopy. The beauty of the oak tree gives way as it sways in a gentle breeze and flutters its leaves as if waving a happy welcome to anyone who may pass. The elm tree swaying in the same breeze illustrates a simple flat wave.…

There was a chill in the air, just enough to make our cheeks rosy. Every so often the breeze would snatch a leaf from the overwhelmingly yellow trees above, and it would spin downward in pirouettes all the way to the ground. Glancing at Chase, my boyfriend of exactly one year, I was reminded of my prior autumn visits to those woods……
