In 2004
Wipro is India's No. 2 listed software service company, and claimed it had
won a multi-year contract from Switzerland's Loyalty Gate Ltd., which
helps airlines run loyalty programmes
In 2005
Wipro sets up an office in Munich, Germany. Europe now represented 30% of Wipro's global IT services revenues and was growing more than 50% year-on-year. Wipro now had development centres in the USA, UK, Finland, Sweden, Japan and China, with additional centres planned in Eastern Europe and the Philippines.
In 2006
Wipro Technologies has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Europe based retail solutions provider, Enabler in an all cash deal.
In 2011
