Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence also known as AI is the capability of a machine to function as if the machine has the capability to think like a human. Artificial Intelligence is very interesting to me; by writing this research paper I have learned many things about computers, machines and robots. This research paper will be focused on how Artificial Intelligence came to be known, what Artificial Intelligence is doing for us today, what Artificial Intelligence will be like in the future and how robots might take over the workforce. Artificial Intelligence is worldwide, what would we do without all of the machines and computers? Most people would be very lost without computers and machines in today’s world. Our everyday lives depend on computers and machines, from your computer to your smart phone. Without Artificial Intelligence we would not have any of these things. In today’s world almost everything you do involves a computer, what will it be like in the future? Will robots take over the world, and let the human race take a long break from everyday work? It is very interesting to think about the future and what may become of it!
The History of Artificial Intelligence is very interesting. The first meeting that was held with the topic of Artificial Intelligence was the Dartmouth Conference in 1956. At this meeting they could not agree on the meaning of Artificial Intelligence. They came up with Artificial Intelligence is getting a computer to perform with intelligence. They actually did studies on how humans solved problems to see if they could put the same logical thinking into computers. They eventually taught computers simple rules of logical thinking, which meant that they found a way in artificial words how to let the computer learn.
