Are you a chocolate lover
Are you a chocolate lover?
Well, if you are I have good news for you. If you’re not maybe you will change your mind once I have finished. Why chocolate can be good for you not just ant chocolate dark chocolate in particular because there is a distinct difference between dark chocolate and milk chocolate. Milk chocolate has the added sugar and the added butter. Dark chocolate however is made of the 70% coco beans.
Why can it be good for you?
Well chocolate has antioxidants, antioxidants protect the body from aging caused by pre-radicals which can cause and lead to heart damage and also this prevents you from getting heart disease. Flavonoids also help relax blood pressure through the production nitride-oxide and balance out certain hormones. It also tastes good and help keep your skin smooth by no means am I telling you to go out and eat a major amount of chocolate. Remember the antioxidants and flavonoids are what helps reduce your blood pressure that’s what helps lower you cholesterol and also prevents bad cholesterols from causing plaque to build up in the arteries. Dark Chocolate can also help reduce tooth decay because it’s not loaded with sugar like hard candies. Mostly it tastes good that’s why I like it and you feel good after you’ve had it as chocolate releases B endorphin which elevates mood. The reason why dark chocolate tastes so bitter is because not all sugar and butter is added that would go into milk chocolate in fact less is added this is why dark chocolate contains 70% coco which makes it less fattening as it’s more natural. Furthermore coco butter is high in saturated fat, BUT 1/3 of fat is stearic acid, which doesn’t raise bad cholesterol. 1/3 of fat is unsaturated fat called oleic acid which raises good cholesterol. Although chocolate does contain caffeine it only contains a small amount whereas coffee and coke contains a substantial amount of caffeine. Chocolate can also help display a superior cardiovascular health. It turns out that chocolate—especially dark chocolate is great after all.x
