Appreciation Lesson Plan
I. Objectives
Given the necessary materials like pictures, and activities like puzzles, at the end of the 45 minutes lesson, the students will be able to achieve 90% of the lesson through; a. Recognizing Dr. Jose Rizal as our national hero. b. Adhering the importance of Dr. Jose Rizal’s works and writings up to this day. c. Dramatization of how Dr. Jose Rizal fought for the Filipinos.

IV. Lesson Proper

a. Motivation
The class will be divided into 4 groups, the teacher will give each group pieces of puzzle. At the mark of the teacher the 4 groups will start putting together the puzzle. The group who first finished the task will be the winner. The finished product will be the picture of Dr. Jose Rizal. b. Discussion
The teacher will ask the students, “do you know who is in the picture?

V. Presentation
Today we will be learning about Dr. Jose Rizal. He is our national hero. Even though he did not fought for us through his gun or sword, he fought for us through his writings. He published some books about the maltreatment of the Spaniards on Filipinos that century.
Dramatic Play
The class will be divided into 2 groups. The teacher will give each group some scenario about the events in the life of Dr. Jose Rizal, then the students will role play it.

    The political situation in Rizal's time was a great government but they do abuse the Filipinos that are their attendant, the entire Philippines was under the Spanish colonization. Where in, the government is more likely controlled by priest rather than officials. Rebellion was still in rampage, there was still a large resistance against the Spaniards.
