I am writing to express my interest in applying for the program in Nutrition and Dietetics for the 2011 autumn term. I graduated in July 2006 from a reputable collage in Madrid (Spain) in Dietitian and Nutritionist . I am very interested in this program and I believe my strong academic background in nutrition combined with my work experience will fulfil your requirements.
I know all requeriment for this degree and unfortunately I have to say I didn’t have time to take the TOEFL test yet but I studied a few English courses in Spain, London and USA and I actually enrrolled in an English school and attending a course called English for academic purposes in the Westchester Community college ,in order to improve my English. From the enclosed certification you will see I have achieved top grades from most of these courses and I am strong confident that I would have the ability and capability to complete the program.
As a I mention before I graduated in Spain in Nutrition,so I enclosed also my college transcript (from W.E.S) in order to apply credits toward a nutrition and dietetic degree.
About my experiencie as a Nutricionist, I was working as Nutricionist for the last five years,working with other Dietitian and Nutritionists with the tasks and responsibilities focusing on offering nutritional care by instituting nutrition programs and working with individual patients to determine specific nutritional needs, helping patients suffering from illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney failure, or obesity, managing the food service department of an institution,analyzing foods and preparing literature for distribution, or reporting on issues such as the nutritional content of recipes, dietary fiber, or vitamin supplements.
