Apple – The popular brand of electronic devices
1. Introduction
Apple, a technology company, has become more popular recently since the release of iPad in April 2010 as it is a new remark for a more advanced technology. As more and more people are choosing Apple’s products, the purpose of this paper is to explore the reason why people are making such decisions. In other words, this paper is to find out why Apple enjoys such popularity. Apple is an American brand which sells electronic devices such as smart phones, MP3 players, laptops and desktop computers, etc. This brand also has its own software, iTunes, for its customers to download and transfer files including both personal files like audio files and photos, and applications or “Apps” from Apple. As mentioned above, Apple contains a large variety of products: iPhone, Macbook, Apple TV, iPad and the iPod series (iPod Classic, iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle). Among these products, the most popular ones are the iPhone and the iPod Touch. The first section of this paper gives some brief information about the Apple’s products, especially iPhone while the second section gives the information of Apple’s own software. The third section explains the reasons why Apple’s products have great attraction to the public nowadays compared with other brands. The last section is a prediction on Apple’s future market share based on the strengths and popularity the Apple enjoys.

2. Apple’s products and software
Apple has a large category of products which include smart phones, MP3 players, laptops, desktop computers, digital media receiver and multimedia devices. However, the most popular one is the iPhone - the smart phone. iPhone is a mobile phone which has all basic functions of a mobile like dialing, alarm clock and calendar, however; it has other multimedia functions such as web browsing, Wi-Fi connecting and photo-taking.
