This paper seeks to develop a marketing plan for Apple Inc. new product, iPhone 5s to the U.K. Market, especially attracting customers who perceive Apple products to be expensive and tend to buy cheaper alternatives to Apple Inc’s products. 1.1 Apple Inc.

This is a marketing plan for Apple in for holiday and Christmas season for year 2013 for the UK market. Apple Inc. is a multinational corporation, based in America that designs and sells computer software, personal computers, and consumer electronics (Linzmayer 1999). Recently it has been well known for pioneering mobile phones and tablet computers like Iphone and Ipad respectively. According to surveys from J. D. Power, Apple has the highest brand name and repurchases loyalty of any computer manufacturer. The marketing plan will give strategies to attract new customers who are not familiar with Apples product line. The marketing plan goal is to attract people who percieve Apple products as expensive and buy cheaper alternative products.Creating awareness about the user experienced and Newly introduced features like Apple financing will help attracting new user to Apple.The company’s recent innovation is iPhone 5s.

Strengths

Apple is considered as one of the most influential companies in the world. One of the crucial factors behind Apple Inc. is its strong brand name. The company can make use of this advantage to market its new iPhone 5s to the U.K. market. Apple also focuses on quality production, a fact that has made the company to attain brand loyalty, and thus, the company will be able to acquire new customers in this market. Apple can also benefit from the economies of scale, since it has a well-established relationship with its supplies and retailers. One of point of strength is that the company’s iPhone 5s is simple and can be used with ease, and therefore, attract more customers to purchase it....
