What is being done to address the issues you identified?

Government is taking steps to help the aging population. Many baby boomers have not saved up enough for retirement. This is obviously an issue because it will not be as rewarding to retire without some extra money. Without this extra money, they will not be able to travel or other things that they would like to do very often. As far as healthcare goes, the elderly have Medicare/Medicaid. Once the elderly are no longer able to support themselves, Medicare/Medicaid will help pay for their medical expenses. Mobility is also an issue with the aging population.
