Anorexic=Supermodels
I was never anorexic, so I was never that skinny. I was never bony-bony. But I remember thinking, I don't want to be this skinny.

Unhealthy, anorexic skinny fashion models should not be allowed to be in print and on the runway. By being underweight and grossly skinny, these models are setting a standard of what skinny is. Models that are just skin-and-bone are stating that it is ok for girls to be transparent and unhealthily skinny. Girls look up to models and celebrities, many who are struggling with distorted body views within themselves. Many eating disorders and distorted body views happen in teen girls each year because of the fashion world’s influence. Anorexic models are not attractive. Their bones are sticking out and they have a hard time functioning because they are weak. Sure, they look great in a swimsuit, that is until you notice their predominate ribs sticking out.
5'9" and taller with 34" chest, 24" waist and 34" hips. That is exactly what magazines and runways want a girl to look like in order to be considered a “model.” Is this what we see in out average days walking around the streets? No. We see, 5’5” or shorter, 140 healthy pounds. The average women is content with her size five jeans and her Medium size top, until we flip open a magazine and see the Calvin Klein model, Kate Moss. Measuring 5’7” and being a size 2, Kate has been a model since she was fourteen years old and she was discovered while walking around JFK airport because of her gorgeous face and her rocking body. Now at age 38, Kate is still on the covers of Vogue, W magazine and many others. She has also been on the cover of over 300 magazines.
I chose Kate Moss as an example for the perfect size 2 model because I feel that her name is known very well and she is one hell of a model. The question is, who can really fit in her size 2 jeans?
