Anne Frank Character Analysis
“I figure by the time the war is over nobody will wants to read the thoughts of a 13 year old schoolgirl.” That is a very famous quote from the diary of Anne Frank. In one portion of the diary Anne describes a scene with Peter. They start talking about their situations and look to each other for comfort. Altogether it is a very sweet scene. In the book, the diary of Anne Frank, Anne Frank has a normal appearance, lonely personality, and is a deep girl despite her young age.

Anne Frank has a very normal appearance. Firstly, she has medium brown hair. Her hair is normally just above her shoulders. Secondly, she is about 5 feet tall. This is completely average for a 13 year old. Lastly, she mostly wears schoolgirl clothes. This is what most young ladies in the 1940’s Holland wore. In conclusion, Anne Frank has a very normal appearance. Anne Frank has a very lonely personality. Firstly, many of her entries infer that she has no friends and doesn’t have any true friends. Throughout the book she says “No one understands me” and “I’m all alone in this world with no one to talk to.” Secondly, many of the responses from people around her are not positive. People in the house don’t like her. The think she talks too much and she is immature, so she is excluded from the group. Thirdly, she tries to fix her image to no avail. She talks less and acts really mature but everybody just thinks she was a spoiled brat. In conclusion, Anne Frank has a really lonely personality. Anne Frank is a very deep girl even with her young age. Firstly, her thoughts are of one much older than her. She once writes “I figure by the time the war is over nobody will want to read the thoughts of a 13 year old schoolgirl.” Secondly, she is a very believable character. Her thoughts and actions are relatable. Lastly, she never gives up when put to the test. She is put into a strange and scary situation, yet she never stops trying to make sure everyone else is okay.
