Animal Farm Napoleon and snowball have different comparisons because they think in opposite ways but run for the same thing leadership. Leadership ruins friendship for example in animal farm napoleon uses snowball as an scapegoat to get all the animals ageist Snowball the animals think snowball will come back eventually. Some people have the same similarities and some people our different in many ways. Napoleon wants to take over animal farm but Snowball wants to take over animal farm too they are not fighting over being a leader but the animals think Snowball would be a better leader then Napoleon because he helps more and is way more involved in every activity their in. Snowball sacrifice his life for the other animals he gives orders and positions to all the animals because the animals don’t know what they are doing the other animas are always confused the animals have to take orders from a leader they depend on some else not themselves. Snowball and Napoleon were in disagreement they where fighting about how Napoleon wants the animals to learn how to train themselves and to get procure firearms to protect themselves. “According to Napoleon, what the animals must do was to procure firearms and train themselves in the use of them”(36). I personally think Napoleon is right the animals need to learn how to protect themselves and do there own things on their own because the other animals wont help them I myself think Napoleon is some what right with his arguments because he says the truth.
Napoleon took over animal farm because he trained the dogs to attack Snowball and chased him away from animal farm Napoleon made Snowball look such as a horrible person for the animals wont ask for him anymore and say that he would have been a better leader then Napoleon “ “( ). My opinion about Snowball being Napoleons scapegoat is bad idea because Snowball would have helped a lot in the

When Old Major dies a few nights after his famous Rebellion speech, Napoleon and Snowball, both boars, combine together and formulate his main principles into a philosophy called Animalism. A few nights later when they have defeated Mr Jones in battle and changed the farm name to Animal Farm they work together in running the farm. Snowball teaches the animals to read, whilst Napoleon educates a young group of puppies. It is here where Napoleon first begins to work on the beginning of the Rebellion when he tells Mollie and Bluebell that education was more important to the young than the old as he was preparing for the next generation. However what he was really doing was preparing for the uprising against Snowball, to take charge of the farm, when the dogs would play a pivotal role acting as body guards to him.…

He was Jones’s secret agent all the time.” (66) But the truth is Snowball wants to make Animal Farm a better place with his different reforms such as building the windmill and creating the many committees. Snowball is never in an alliance with Jones or any other human. Napoleon also claims he created the blueprints for the windmill when in actuality, Snowball creates the blueprints. Unfortunately, the minds of the animals are weak and are easily influenced by Napoleon and his lies and history is rewritten in their heads. They believe that Snowball is no longer someone helping them but the enemy, signifying that Napoleon is holding power over them.…

In the beginning of Animal Farm, Napoleon shows no concern in what the animals do and leaves most of the leadership work and inspirational speeches to Snowball: “Napoleon was…not much of a talker, but [had] a reputation of getting his own way” (25) shows that Napoleon doesn’t want to make a lot of speeches. This is important because it foreshadows that Napoleon is going to become bossier later in the story. Napoleon “took no interest in Snowball’s committees” (41). This proves that Napoleon didn’t bother to care what Snowballs plans were; he instead “took them [the nine puppies] away from their mothers, saying that he would make himself responsible for their education” (41). Napoleon clearly had more important plans for later.…

The animals will have an opposite view from the higher class of “Animalism.” Napoleon gains the minds of the animals through metaphors. Before Napoleon kicked Snowball out of Animal Farm, the whole farm looked up to Snowball, because he was smart in his words and in his ideas. Even after kicking Snowball out, the animals still could not fathom Snowball turning against them. Squealer changes their views of Snowball, telling them that he was a traitor from the very start. Snowball had knocked down their windmill, he tells them. The animals are frightened of Snowball being some kind of “invisible influence.” Because of this rhetoric device, the animals’ views on Snowball changed throughout the book. The pigs succeeded through this propaganda. Soon, Snowball was thought of as an outsider and nothing more than that.…

In Animal Farm, the plot goes around the victory of Old Major and the overthrow of Mr.Jones leading to the full overtaking of the farm. After this overthrow Snowball and Napoleon are put in charge over the pigs with the motto “all pigs are equal.” However during this leadership Snowball is run off the farm by Napoleon’s taste for power starting a dictatorship. Therefore takes control of all the animals of the farm. Boxer who had thought about what Napoleon had did spoke his mind saying” if comrade Napoleon says it, it must be right.” From there he adopted the saying “Napoleon is always right” this shows how Napoleon has failed to keep the oath he had made to Old Major, and now is running a communist regime. This shows how Napoleons idea of equality had completely diminished creating alliance with the humans.…

He is forceful and a realist. He is an egomaniac. He never makes a single contribution to the revolution. He works solely for his own ends. He tells lies, his ruthless, he has the hunger for power and he is corrupt. “Napoleon was a large, rather...with a reputation of getting his way”. He might not be as good a speaker as snowball, but he was an excellent administrator. He plans to get rid of snowball. He gets the sheep to bleat during snowballs speeches, he urinates on his plans and trains the puppies to be his loyal force. This loyal force later on chases snowball off the farm. He uses manipulation to build his power base. After snowball is kicked out the division between the pigs and the other animals become wider. From the beginning, Napoleon is already marked as being a prominent pig because of his respected position within the farm and his “reputation for getting his own way.” It is clear to see that both Snowball and Napoleon regard themselves as being capable leaders, however, neither wants the other to overpower them. Napoleon starts to act as a representative for those animals who are unable to express themselves in the debates, and he tries to convince the other animals that Snowball’s views should be disregarded. As a natural, vivacious and articulate spokesman, Snowball is a popular debater and quickly earns the attention of many of the animals. This comes as a major obstacle for Napoleon and his rise to power. It was obvious to see that before long, Snowball would become the unquestionable leader of Animal Farm and would certainly threaten Napoleons position.…

Then, slowly differences began to erupt between Napoleon and Snowball. After, the idea of building the windmill was discussed and was decided who would oversee this work. Napoleon sent his dogs to go after Snowball. Moreover, now that Snowball was out of the farm, Napoleon took control. This quote, taken from chapter 6 (page 52) of Animal Farm, is a highly significant speech throughout this chapter. This speech was presented by “the animal’s hero” Napoleon. Napoleon’s main intentions throughout this speech are directly against and offending towards Snowball. As we already know, Snowball is a wise pig that comes up with great ideas, but it seems Napoleon has grown envious of Snowball’s wonderful traits. In order to become more powerful and correct his mistakes, Napoleon uses propaganda and in a way, manipulates the other animals.…
