Android event Scheduler/Reminder Application

ABSTRACT:

Android application that can remind us of any event/Task we mark on it. It can be like reminding us about a meeting, time to pay any bill etc. The app can take from the user the event name, date and time of the event. Store the details to the database and alert the user 10 min before the event. Simple Application for Android phone. Application will be used as a “reminder” for a specific type of event. With the ability to save multiple events. Events are based on alternating calendar dates & frequency (user input). Notification/reminders will be sent via Text Message.

All the information Cute Reminder stores for you is classified depending on how it relates to a time. There are only three simple categories: Reminders, Notes and Ideas. The following table comments that classification. Reminders are pieces of information tightly bound to a specific time. For example, if you have a meeting on Monday at 11:00 AM then you should set up a reminder, which will appear on your desktop at the specified time prompting you on the event. If you have a deadline, you set up a reminder to allow you to do the work in a timely fashion. Notes are pieces of information not bound to a specific deadline. You use notes to remind you to do something when you have time. For example, you create a note in order not to forget to write a letter to a friend. Or, you can make a note to store temporary information such as a phone number or address. The notes are placed on your desktop, and they remain visible unless you hide them. Ideas are pieces of information, which is unproven, unreliable, or incomplete. This kind of information does not assume any deadlines or immediate actions. You use ideas to avoid wasting your resources and time working on fuzzy goals.

Whether you are a home user, student or professional, it is always important to keep and organize important information, dates and events. Secure Reminder is mobile reminder software that helps you manage different kinds of information with ease and efficiency. Secure Reminder comes with lots of useful features, allowing you to save your time, increase productivity and focus on your job.

EXISTING SYSTEM:
Strategic planning fails is an assertion that strategic planning fails in the first place and that the causes might not be well understood. The reasons why strategic planning fails and the rate of failures should not be a surprise to anyone since it would perpetuate another fallacy of planning. Organizations devote so much time and energy to the annual ritual of developing or updating their strategic plans if they are doomed to failure from the start. Just think of all of the smart, well-educated, experienced managers and executives devoting so much of their organizations limited resources on an activity with such a poor track record of producing results.

DISADVANTAGE: • Difficult to Manage reminders manually. • Planning and scheduling tasks have complexity.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:
With the help of Cute Reminder software you can easily create mobile sticky notes and make reminders for an appointment, birthday, phone call, bill payment, meeting, tv show, and other events or tasks. Make a pill reminder, break reminder, gift reminder, etc., and you will never miss anything important.

ADVANTAGE: • Manage all your reminders • Create, search, and archive your notes • Generate and fulfill your ideas • Plan your time • Make your workplace more comfortable.

You can create notes displaying on your mobile. Your notes can be displayed immediately after creation or in the certain moments of time. The most important note can be declared as VIP-note displaying with a blink and sound accompaniment. The application has a nice convenient interface.

Organize reminder notes
The updated version includes features pack which when turned ON makes it available to attach a Callback Alarm (on Android) to a Reminder Note making sure the reminder is shown by a certain date, Assign a Reminder Note right after call, even if the phone number is not in the Address Book, create a Task directly on Google Account (on Android) or a Calendar Event on default Phone Calendar right after call.

1.1 Data can be organised in a number of ways depending on the situation. For instance, it may be beneficial to organise data in folders in date order, by year and then by month, especially if data is used and reported on a monthly basis. The files themselves should then be individually dated and stored in the relevant folder. You could add further subfolders for each week in the month if the amount of data requires you to be more specific. Another way to organise data would be to use a sequence of relevant numbers (product serial numbers/IMEIs depending on the data your company uses) which are sorted into numerical order. So anyone searching for specific information can easily locate the data by looking down the list (or using a search function). This data could then be saved into folders by date, as previously mentioned.…
