Getting a Little Help from Ancient Astronauts
The first thing that comes to mind when the word “UFO” is mentioned is more than likely “hoax.” Philip J. Klass, a noted UFO investigator and skeptic would agree. Klass passed away in 2005, but he lived in a time where UFO sightings were popular; a time that allowed technology to trick the naked eye, and a time that has no solid evidence that UFO’s are real. Klass was investigating the wrong time period. If he would have visited ancient places like the Great Pyramid or looked at the medieval map known as the Piri Reis Map, he might have had a change of heart. Maybe if he could have traveled the world to investigate all of the B.C. era ancient art and iconography, which most is available to the general public in museums, he would have changed his mind. In the interview “UFO Sightings Are Hoaxes and Mistakes” by Gary Posner, Klass responds to questions from critics who challenge his passion for debunking these UFO reports. He states that “in thirty-three years of investigating reports of UFOs, he has yet to find any credible evidence that extraterrestrials have visited Earth” (Posner). Let’s focus on what we call Ancient Astronauts. Ancient Astronauts are Extraterrestrials who visited earth in the B.C. era or soon after, something that Klass never investigated. Ancient Astronauts and UFO sightings are real and have been documented since the B.C. era. First, the Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, maybe the greatest piece of evidence that Ancient Astronauts have visited Earth. Ray Alex, author of “Egyptian Archaeologist Admits that the Pyramids Contain UFO Technology”, has found in ancient hieroglyphs where the Egyptians state “the pyramids where built in an age when "sky gods" came down to Earth and raised the land from mud and water. These “sky gods” flew through the air in flying "boats" that brought laws and wisdom to man through a royal line of pharaohs” (Alex). The use of the words “flying boats” may make it hard to believe what the Egyptians wrote, but back then they did not have the vocabulary that we possess. What would you call a UFO if you came from that time? Furthermore, Egyptian hieroglyphics have detailed writings of farming, giving birth, pharaoh worship, hunting, and building structures, but the building of the Great Pyramid was never mentioned (Alex). According to “The Pyramids and Temples of Giza”, “all of Great Pyramid angles are exactly ninety degrees, no side is more than eight inches different in length than the other, and the casting stones are all flat with an accuracy of 0.01 of an inch” (Petrie). To illustrate how close to perfect this is, a human hair is .004 of an inch so three hairs laid side by side would be 0.01. Mysteriously “this whole structure is perfectly oriented to the points of a compass” (Daniken). The Great Pyramid was built in twenty years around 2560 BC with limited surveying tools and one hundred thousand oppressed slaves. A great argument I read was “Due to the fact there are over one hundred thousand stones that make up the pyramid, you would need an excess of a half million trees. The problem with this theory is the lack of trees in that area. Egypt grows some date trees, that’s about it, and they certainly wouldn’t cut down all their date trees, for dates are one of the main foods in Egypt!” (Alex). We have been taught that it took them twenty years to build and they did this with pick axes, rope, and slaves to haul these massive blocks. All of these slaves would have had to possess extreme masonry and acute mathematical skills to perfectly stack and cut these blocks. Such a great feat should have been documented with all the years and hard work it took to build, but the Egyptians did not build the Great Pyramid. As the Egyptians have said, the “sky gods” (Ancient Astronauts) were the only ones who built this ancient and perfect wonder. Another great piece of...
