DATA ANALYSIS

For the survey analysis I take the sample size of 100 people.

CHART-1 PERCENTAGE OF USERS AND NON USERS OF LAPTOPS

On the basis of the survey it easily seems that there are 76% of people use laptops but also 24% of people are not using the laptops. The question is why these 24% of people do not use Laptops. What is the reason behind that?

There are too many companies in the market which are providing different types of laptops but the mostly market is divided among HP, COMPAQ, LENOVO, ACER, HCL, DELL, SONY and LG. According to the survey analysis Hp has 24% of market share or in the all consumers of laptops 24% of consumers uses HP Laptops, Compaq and Lenovo both has 18%, HCL and Acer both has 16%, Sony and LG has 3% and Dell has 2% of market share.

The people use laptops for some work. According to the survey 32% of consumers use laptops for study, 21% for Entertainment, and 19% for official work while 28% of consumers use laptops for Study-entertainment both, study-official both, and entertainment-official both.
