Music should not be banned
My eyes close if they see indecency, my tongue stops and words die if I know my they will cause displeasure. I am Human and therefore my race is called Ashraful Makhlooqat. Ladies and Gentlemen, I am Farhat Asheer and stand here today to give some viewpoints on a controversial topic that is Music should be banned. Going back to one of the points I rose earlier about Ashraf ul Makhlooqat all I want to say is that Humans have intelligence which no other creatures possesse. We know what is wrong and what is right, I have knowledge about fire burning my skin and so I don’t play with it. I know if I jump from a tenth floor I will probably die. Moreover I am fortunate enough to be a Muslim and my religion has defined life. The whole code of conduct is present in Quran and Sunnah and now it is on the Muslims how they would life to live it to reach the ultimate destiny. There is another disadvantage or advantage of being Human and that is to be drawn to everything that is forbidden, unlawful or incorrect. Remember Adam(AS) and Eve(AS) ate the forbidden apple and were sent to Earth. Which means that what is not allowed is always attractive and now coming to the center of discussion “Music” this phenomenon is everywhere. Be it the streets where tape recorders are blaring or be it any political Jalsa. Music is just everywhere, now if you want to stop it you just cannot go to every other door and ask them to lower the volume and you cannot even go to PEMRA and complain about musical advertisements. As a matter of fact Music industries are one of the largest growing industries of the world. Michael Jackson died and the whole world took a jolt, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Music is famous all over, in fact he is the King Of Classical melodies and we all can relate to him.
