Amanda Bynes and Schizophrenia

Whether they’re enthralled by it, appalled by it, or concerned by it, I think it’s safe to say that everyone has an opinion on the Amanda Byne’s meltdown. The alleged marijuana bong-tossing incident, setting fire in a stranger’s driveway, getting into multiple car accidents (hit and runs), wearing ratty wigs, humorously denying her odd behavior, calling each and every critic of hers “ugly” via her Twitter feed, and getting evicted from her apartment, an endless amount of people are weighing in on it, attempting to get to the bottom of the child-star’s meltdown. Is it schizophrenia? Or is she simply a helpless victim of what stardom and countless amounts of money can do to you? I believe that she has unfortunately ruined her image. She is displaying all the characteristics of the psychological disorder Schizophrenia. She has totally changed as a person, when only three years back she was starring in major films, and was an actress to look up to. Much like Lindsay Lohan's infamous meltdown, Amanda Bynes has proven to herself, and the public, that she has gone crazy, with obvious evidence through her actions. The first event that supports this idea is Amanda Byne's fire-incident. Amanda Bynes allegedly set fire in an elderly woman's driveway, along with her own clothes. Before the fire, her pet pomeranian puppy was drenched in gasoline while she was setting the driveway aflame, and surveillence footage showed Bynes running to the nearest gas station holding up her dog and pacing around the store before bee-lining to the "employees only" area. The cashier then found her attempting to wash off the dog in the sink, before she immediately freaked out and left the store. Some time after she set the driveway on fire, a driver reported that he saw Bynes laying on the ground with her pants on fire, with a trail of gas and fire. Beside her were a gas can and a "Super Soaker" squirt gun. Eventually, she was arrested and put in 5150 psychiatric hold and hospitalized...
