AMADEUS PNR MANDATORY ELEMENT
In this Class 3 of Level I series of Airlines GDS/CRS Reservations & PNR Management, the candidates will be able to learn the following tasks & will be very comfortable to BUILD A COMPLETE PNR ON THEIR OWN:-
First Steps Towards Building a Complete PNR using 5 Mandatory PNR Elements called P.R.I.N.T, such as creating
1. Name Elements ( N )
- Proper insertion techniques of Passenger’s Names with correct GDS Protocols and Passenger Type Codes (PTCs), such as Adult, Child, Infant and other concessional types or categoreis
2. Itinerary Elements – Building of Travel Segments ( I )
- How to pick up seats on a GDS from seat availability display of an airlines seat inventory in appropriate fare paying class of travel
3. How to Add Phone Contact Elements ( P )
- Travel Agency Telephone Numbers
- Passengers Boarding and/or Origin Point Home & Business/Hotel Numbers
- Passenger’s Telephone Contacts along the Routing of the Itinerary as present in the PNR
4. How to Create Ticketing Element/s ( T )
- For immediate e-ticketing (advance purchase) or setting a ticketing time-limit for higher fare paying classes and/or as being allowed by the airliners
5. How to Create Recieved From Element ( R )
- Which gets attached to the History section of a PNR and displaying of such Requests (from various persons) during creation, addition, amendment or cancellation of PNR Elements
After completing P.R.I.N.T section in this Class 3, a student becomes very confident in creating his/her own PNRs on a Global Distribution System (GDS) or an Airlines Computerised Reservation System
