Background

Black Veil Brides was founded in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio, by Andy Beirsack. At this time, the band consisted of Andy Biersack, Johnny Herold, Nate Shipp, Phil Cenedella and Chris Riesenberg. Eventually Andy relocated to Los Angeles, California. In September 2009, he formed a new band, with the same name, and signed with the independent label; StandBy Records. That Year, the band changed a lot. At the end of the year the group consisted of Andy Biersack, Jinxx, Jake Pitts, Ashley Purdy and Sandra Alvarenga.

The Group’s debut album “We Stich These Wounds” was released on July 20th, 2010. It sold over 10,000 copies in its first week. It also hit No. 36 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and hit No. 1 on the Billboard Independent chart. The most popular song on this album was “Knives and Pens”. This album was mostly described as metal core. Shortly after the release of the album, the band changed again with the exchange of Sandra with Christain “CC” Coma. Completing the group with Andy as lead vocals, Ashley Purdy as backing vocals and bass, Jinxx as rhythm guitar, violin and backing vocals, Jake Pitts as lead guitar, and CC on drums.

During this time Black Veil Brides got the attention of Lava Records president Jason Flom, when the chief music officer at Hot Topic, John Kirkpatrick, told him about the incredible buzz that was building on the band. Once Flom heard their music and met the group, they switched over to Lava Records where they currently are.

After doing many tours and playing many shows, the band finally released their second album “Set the World on Fire” on June 14th, 2011. The most popular song on the album is “Fallen Angels” which was released in late April and the video later on in early May. This album was seen as more shock rock/glam metal. One of the songs on the album, “Set the World on Fire”, was planned to be used in the movie “Scream 4”. The song ended up not being used in the movie

I am writing why the processional "Here Comes the Bride" and the recessional "The Wedding March" are being prohibited in the Catholic Church. As a catholic girl, I have always dreamed of walking down the aisle to "Here Comes the Bride," and leaving the wedding to "The Wedding March." This was to be the moment that I could cherish , the moment that would be unforgettable. Now that I am ready to be married, is when I am upset that these two songs are no longer allowed in the Catholic Church.…

To begin, the premise of Mr. Hooper of wearing a black veil is because he is hiding something. Whether it is because he is self-conscious of himself, or the sins that he has committed cause him to feel guilty and ashamed, we can understand why Mr. Hooper would wear a black veil. He most likely feels embarrassed of having intimate relations with someone other than his fiancé, and due to this, he hides his face from the mourners to prevent a reaction from them. Furthermore, the guilt that overwhelmed Mr. Hooper due to his sins dictated his thoughts and actions. Mr. Hooper might’ve worn the black veil to the funeral to hide his relentless culpability that has haunted him.…

The “whiteness” shown in Ceremony is represented by the white smoke, the white people, and the white man’s war, are all symbols of the sense of nothingness.…
