This document contains a ‘mock’ essay that aims to demonstrate our expectations for assignments in Economics 100. We have chosen a very simple newspaper article for this exercise. The article contains a few points about the demand for Harvey Norman’s (an electrical store) products. The essay shows how to create a structure for the analysis of the article, how to use diagrams in the analysis and how to use reference materials.
