ALEXANDER vs Iskandar Zulkarnain Julai 27, 2006
Posted by kamarul in EKSPRESI, Uncategorized. trackback Alexander The Great mengingatkan aku kepada filem Alexander yang diarahkan oleh Oliver Stones.Seorang pengarah yang Kontroversi.Ditangan Oliver, Alexander digambarkan seorang Biseksual, gila kuasa, penyembah Dewa-dewi, dan lemah pendirian.Segala tindak-tanduknya dibawah kawalan ibunya,Olivia.
Setelah bapanya terbunuh Alexander menjadi raja.
Alexander the Great bukanlah ciri-ciri raja yang disebut dalam Al-Quran.

All throughout school teachers have taught students that Alexander The Great was indeed great but, is this really true? He did conquer much land and spread greek culture throughout Europe but not many people know what he did to his men in order to do this. One way that he torched his men to get what he wants is in Document D when the man went through all that work to get him his hat back after it falling into the water than killed him. He did this because in order to get the hat back without getting wet he would have to place it on his head. Since he placed in on his head he had to get it cut off because it says “he should not allow the head that had worn the royal head band to be safe” (Document D). He did this to show the rest of his men…

Alexanders respect of other people's beliefs was one of the biggest reasons he is considered great. While other conquerors in this time period, like the persians, would try to destroy and get rid of other people's cultures Alexander would study and learn from them. He did this to such an extent in Egypt that they even referred to him as a god and pharaoh. In other places he would study their beliefs, and try to understand them as a people, and he may have been doing this to learn how to control them, but based on his character it is more likely that he did it so learn how to respect them.…

Many people think that Alexander the Great was truly great because of all his accomplishments, but not all of the things he did were great. He did lots of cruel things to people and animals just because he wanted to gain more power. Alexander has killed approximately 100,000 people only in four major battles (Alexander’s Legacy Doc E). Alexander was a prince who was born in macedonia of 356 BC. Alexander was very arrogant. He was taught by a philosopher Aristotle. He taught him subjects like, politics, sports, and warfare. Alexander the Great was a lord of Macedonia in Ancient Greece. He was conceived in Macedonia in 356 BC. He was guided by Aristotle and turned into the ruler of Macedonia at 20 years old. He was known for building a major realm crosswise over numerous Greek settlements. Along these lines, Greek culture was spread out along numerous urban communities all through the Near East. The Greek culture spreading along the Near East was something worth being thankful for Greece since it enabled them to impact culture and dialect into different urban communities. It wasn't such something worth being thankful for the general population that lived in the Near East urban communities and past in light of the fact that they didn't get the chance to build up…

The Persian empire at its peak has long been seen as one of the largest wholes during the classical era, and few have rivaled its size. The land that Alexander the Great was able to conquer, however, was one of the few that served as an appropriate challenge. Around the time of 338 B.C.E through 323 B.C.E., Alexander's collected mass was a whole. Of a Greek origin, Alexander was taught by Aristotle, the great philosopher, and it can be inferred that he used the strategic methods learned, among other things, to assist him during his expansion. It was short lived, however, when he died of an unknown cause at an early age of thirty-three. Even though his empire crumbled, his legacy lived on. Multiple cities, strongly influenced by Alexander, erected,…

By understanding a country’s language, you usually attain a connection and comprehension of that place. However, with the diction of “odd shards,” it is clear that only painful barriers remain within Alexander. A “shattered” feeling is frequently expressed due to a lack of belonging to a single place. The many languages and cultures clouding her mind make it difficult to piece the bits of her scattered existencetogether. The hopeless and painful tone used as she wonders how to “ spell out these fragments of a broken geography,” further emphasizes her cultural confusions. Only the comforts of her internal ideal fantasies seem to relieve…

Alexander III of Macedon also known as, Alexander the Great, made a name for himself many years ago, but today his “greatness” is being questioned because of research conducted due to modern technology. To be viewed as great, one would need lots of evidence supporting they are a well-rounded person. I believe that Alexander had rightfully earned this title because through my research I have only found evidence that Alexander was a man of greatness. Although Alexander displayed many characteristics of greatness there are three that have stood out me, his strategy, selflessness, and influence. These reasons show clear support that Alexander was Great and never anything less.…
