Albert Einstein was born on the 14th of March 1879, in Germany. Einstein was a non-observant Jew. Einstein had early speech difficulties; however he excelled at the first school that he attended. He was visiting the United States when Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, and did not go back to Germany, where he had been a professor at the Berlin Academy of Sciences. He settled in the U.S., becoming a citizen in 1940. Einstein was in the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey, until his death in 1955. On the eve of World War II, he helped alert President Franklin D. Roosevelt that Germany might be developing an atomic weapon, and recommended that the U.S. begin similar research; which was the Manhattan Project. Einstein is best known for his mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2. he received the 1921 Nobel Price for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect Theory of Relativity, proposed by Einstein in the early part of the 20th century, is one of the most significant scientific advances of our time. His major contribution was the recognition that the speed of light in a vacuum is constant and an absolute physical boundary for motion. Einstein's theory also predicts that if you fell into a black hole, and there are many black holes in our Galaxy and nearby, you would encounter an infinite density at the centre. These infinities, if they do exist, would be actual infinities. “Does infinity Exist?” is an interesting article to read; however I didn’t understand most of it. [continues]
