My sisters keeper by Jodi Picoult is about Kate and her younger sister Anna who is brought into the world ,genetically altered, to save her older sister, suffering from a severe disease.Picoult brings up issues of moral ethics and family dynamics. She explores moral boundaries when it comes to saving a child's life ,but at the same time putting another child's life in jeopardy.

Throughout the novel I was amazed at the strength of Anna and Kate's relationship.Anna struggled with her own identity but never complained when she had to give countless counts of blood and bone marrow to help her sister."they don't really pay attention to me , except when they need my blood or something".While I felt sympathetic towards Anna ,I was also inspired by her unconditional selflessness. I doubt I could find the strength to make such life altering decisions on my sisters behalf.Anna shows how utterly giving humans can and should be.

I would recommend this book to readers of all ages, especially teenagers. This novel portrays the love and care . While the theme of this book is serious and somewhat negative, I found a positive message between the lines. To me it is not letting life pass you by and seizing every single day.

My sisters keeper made me appreciate the struggles some people have to face on life.I came to admire Anna because she was so supportive of her sister even in life risking situations.Even though it goes against what she believes, Anna will do anything for her sister.Animal farm by George Orwell is a book set in the 1940s, where animals on a farm struggle to abide by rules given. This book displays a simplistic and illustrated plot but also projects one of the main problems happening in the world at this time. How far mankind will go to gain power.

One thing I really enjoyed in the novel was the fact that it kept you thinking who were the bad guys, the humans or the animals. The humans had set the animals on strict rules whereas the animals fought for

The love amidst two sisters Anna and Kate is unconditional throughout the novel. In Kate’s body, Anna’s blood is constantly flowing in her veins and arteries. Anna is the only Savior for Kate and because of her Kate is alive. Anna was born with it only one mindset l which was to help Kate. When she grew up, she did a lawsuit against Kate because she wanted her own rights for her body but even after that she loves Kate. The only reason why Anna did a lawsuit was because Kate told her to. Kate pulled out different examples from her head and convinced and Anna. Kate explained, “Think about it Anna. You could go to your hockey camps. You could choose a college in a whole different country. You could do anything you want and never have to worry about me.” (Picoult, 390) Kate played with Anna's mind thoughts. Animal Farm, written by George Orwell, is a satire, which criticizes the Russian leaders, government, communism, and world powers. It shows how an uneducable lower class can lead to social corruption in the fictional world and real world. Orwell shows Stalin and Trotsky as the leaders of Russia, in a way, in which the nation of Russia and the world had never seen before; he portrays the world leaders as animals on a farm that wish for a rebellion. Mr. Jones treats the animals on the farm atrociously and consequently they long for freedom from the humans. However, the animals later realize that their freedom was not everything they wish for. The book includes many ideas from the Russian rebellion, the injustice of communism, and the struggles of the lower class in Russia. Animal Farm demonstrates that when many leaders come together and others blindly follow, social corruption and inequality may occur.…
