Topic : Air Pollution Air pollution is the most major problem nowadays that happened in the world.. it caused by harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and very small particles of carbon. Most of the pollution is caused by factories, vehicles and livestock. Today air pollution has become dangerous to humans. Heavy air pollution may cause breathing problems such as asthma or other health problems. The effect of the air pollution is the global climate change, particularly, global warming. As the temperatures around the world are increasing , the sea levels start increasing, and icebergs are gradually melting. As a consequence, numerous species have lost their place. One more effect is acid rains which take place when fossil fuels are burnt. During the rain nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxides emitted into the atmosphere combine with water drops. Those, in their turn, become acidic and fall on the ground. Acid rain inflicts damage on humans. Air pollution often leads to various respiratory diseases among humans such as bronchitis as well as more dangerous ones like Cancer. Millions of people die annually due to direct or indirect effects of air pollution. There are many things that people do to cause air pollution but there is also many ways that you can prevent it. We must work together to reduce pollution so that the future generations can live in a healthy.

Air pollution or atmospheric pollution is mainly caused by the gases given out by burning petroleum products, coal, firewood etc. Vehicles emit large amounts of gaseous pollutants into the air. The exhaust gases from automobiles and factories add to the air, sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide, dust etc. Such polluted atmosphere causes acid rain. It is now calculated that the content of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased by 25% in the last 100 years. The mean temperature of the atmosphere has increased from .3°C to .7°C during the period. Carbon monoxide leads to respiratory problems and acid rains due to sulphur dioxide damage crops, plants and marble buildings. Smoke causes pollution in…

Volcanoes, wild fires and methane that is released through the digestive system of animals helps pollute the air. Road dust, some fertilizers, and lead are some of the main things that causes air pollution. The U.S. alone releases a quarter of the world’s carbon dioxide. The things that are polluting the air is also the main causes of global warming.…

Another type of air pollution that we hear so often is the greenhouse effect. This is air pollution being caused by several different gasses. Some people call it a theory; others know that there is evidence in supporting the proof behind it. The gasses affect the atmosphere when they move upwards, and also destroy all types of life including plants, humans, animals, and even destroys crops as well. The six gasses are methane, sulphur, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, and ozone. To sum it up pollution is usually raised by the burning of fossil fuel, which is why we need to find alternatives. This is bad for humans because it can hurt their skin and also cause different types of cancer for humans. Greenhouse gasses are not good for our health and in large quantities can be fatal.…

There are two main air pollutants; one is natural causes e.g. windblown dust, pollen, fog etc. and the other is that which we call people pollution. This is the most serious form of air pollution. One of the worst air pollutants which is affecting our environment today is Carbon Monoxide, a colourless, odourless gas caused by the incomplete burning of gasoline, oil, and wood. Low concentrations can cause dizziness, fatigue and headaches, while high concentrations can be fatal. Other pollutants such as Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen and Lead have contributed to the deteriorating environment. We are all guilty of the overuse of same and, consequently, we all contribute to the pollution levels from which we suffer.…
