With the world developing, people’s lives become more and more comfortable. However, the pollution also becomes more     serious. Form a survey showed form WHO Milan in Italy, Linfen in China and Lani Eethe in India are the three of the most polluted cities in the world. And more and more cities become polluted. This essay will introduce the types of pollutions including air pollution and water pollution. It will also discuss the cause, effects and solutions for these three cities.
There are many of the similar reasons in these three cities have been polluted o degrees. Firstly, vehicle exhaust emissions are becoming increasingly serious air pollution. For example, as we all know, one of the hobbies of the people in Milan is the car. So there are a lot of vehicles in these cities. Vehicle exhaust emissions break the air and people cannot get the fresh air. With the high population in these cities, there is much rubbish produced from the peoples’ activities. They burn rubbish and they want to make a large number of rubbish from burning can be a small amount of rubbish, meanwhile, burning rubbish polluted air. In the same way, emission from some factories, emission made cloud become smog which is harmful to people’s health. It will put people at risk of diseases. In addition, oil burning leads to the high concentration of so2; it also leads to the formation of other sulfur compounds, then people feel uncomfortable and if some birds which breathe so2 will die. On the other hand, the emissions from the industry and the treatment of the rubbish also pollute the water in the cities. Industrial waste water contains many chemical components, would pollute the water but the water cannot refer to the city. [continues]
