Proposal
AIDS is a disease caused by the HIV virus. The HIV virus is a virus that attacks the human immune system which make the human perceptible to many diseases, illnesses, and cancers. Many people suffer from AIDS around the world. AIDS are being spread by common ways such as needle sharing (drug users) and having unprotected sex. The problem is that people that do not have AIDS are suffering: AIDS victims do not make people aware they have it and infect others. If non victims knew that the person they were dealing with have AIDS, then they will have protected sex and not share needles with each other. Some victims are not aware they have it but most know and do not share because of embarrassment. Being unaware to AIDS victims can cause some of this suffering for non- victims.
Solutions in the past to correct the problem that non- victims have are: had AIDS awareness conventions, Promoted safe sex, Encouraged victims to let someone know, Encouraged getting tested, and Encouraged sexual abstinence. AIDS conventions promote learning more about the disease and understanding it. If you understand the causes and symptoms then you are likely to detect it and avoid getting it. Safe sex can prevent it but it's not a hundred percent proof. Letting a loved one know is tough for the victim. They are too ashamed to let someone know. Non victims can’t rely on honesty. Testing to see if you have the disease can be viewed as pointless if you have no reason to go.
In this modern time, sexual abstinence is almost impossible for our younger generation. Not to mention victims who are raped and too poor to say anything. It is so many defects in these solutions. The AIDS epidemic has surpassed the peak for infected people. This is a worldwide problem. People that are not infected want to be distinguished from others to keep from the infection.
