When a person decides to be full time there are several reasons why they chose to do that profession. Many teachers say they decided to do this profession because they love helping children, they love a certain subject, and then you have some who do it for convince and just need a job. You may even hear of some who chose to become teachers because of an awesome teacher from their past but, the one thing you want her people saying that they wanted to become a teacher for is the high salary. However even with the low incomes do you feel that new teachers should receive singing bonuses?

Teaching is something that requires a constant love for kids and teaching. A teacher must truly enjoy both of these in order to love the job and get the students excited about learning. Being a teacher is a wonderful job and it falls under an important job since these teachers are preparing our future generation for the real world. Teachers are where it all begins, without a proper education for our students they would not be able to have a successful career and the world would run out of doctors, lawyers and many other valuable positions. The impact that teachers have on the future generations is a valuable one.

So as you see yes teachers are important but, I don’t feel that the districts need to be offering new teachers singing bonuses to do their job. I know that some will argue that the signing bonus is great because it helps the new teacher get their classroom ready with much needed supplies. Hey, what about the teachers who have been there at the same school for years struggling to teach the students due to minimum to no funds for class material? Don’t you think that this bonus could be used for these things instead of investing it into a teacher that you are not even sure if they are going to stay at your school or even meet the standards the school has placed on them?
