There are many differences between living in the city or in a country setting, but the country setting has many more advantages over the city. The air and water quality and other environment factors are improved in the country setting. The school system is safer and less crowded in a rural setting. The roads are not loaded with traffic and taxis. The country is safer than the city and crime rates are lower. In the country, there is an abundance of trees and vegetation. In the country, there are parks and open spaces, and there is a variety of wildlife to observe. Although some of the reasons why one might choose to live in either place are left to personal preference, there are many factors based solely on facts.…

Many families and individuals find themselves at some point questioning the advantages of city living versus country living. It is nearly impossible to find a good answer to this question. What is good for one person might not be good for another. Some people enjoy the busy, hyper active metropolitan city where they can use all amenities and have unlimited opportunities for work and leisure. At the same time, other people feel the urge to be closer to Mother Nature, relaxation, beauty, and peace. They take pleasure in living in the calm and peaceful environment of the countryside and spending their free time fishing, hiking, picking berries in the woods, or playing in the creek. In my opinion, the nature of urban and rural life style and the effect it has on people is the most important difference between living in the city and living in the country. I feel fortunate to have grown up in the rural area. I would never trade my memories of playing in the creek, riding four wheelers, or climbing trees all within a short walk from my house. Health, education, and transportation are three major concerns that need to be considered. While city life can bring more opportunities in these cases, country life can provide the best of both worlds.…

    City and Country

Unlike the country, the city is full of action. The city is full of different colorful lights at night, tall and short buildings all around, vehicles traveling at a steady pace, and people walking towards their destination. In the city, not much of nature or animals are within sight. It is a place that is fast paced compared to the country which is a slow paced environment. If you have two choices: life in the city or in the country, which one will you choose? .Some people think that city life has more benefits than country life; however, some people agree that country life is a real life like a nice dream: hearing nature’s music, seeing sights of the land and its beauty, and planting trees. Even though, city living and country living might be considered similar, as night and day but from a broader perspective, they both have some differences in conveniences, life conditions, and people's characteristics,…

Who wants to walk out of their front door and see nothing but a concrete jungle filled with too many cars? certainly not me! In the country, there is space between you and your annoying neighbors. Having privacy in the city is like trying to grow an oak tree in a thimble. In the country, you can walk out of your front door and see a blue, pollution free sky, the birds are chirping, and maybe upon a distance you see a couple horses or cows. There is no curfew at night time, no annoying patrolling police officers, and you can have a bonfire at your own leisure. Cities are overloaded with people and it proves nearly impossible to step outside without being seen or heard by other people.…

The second effect of moving to a new town or city can be found in psychologist state of a person. For example, when I arrived here I had some mental problems because always I was thinking about my family that I left in Angola. In my opinion, think about the family who people left causes serious problem and the person cannot concentrate on her real objective there. In addition, people have to be strong and control all their feelings when they are in another town.…

It is indisputable that there has always been a sharp distinction between urban and rural living. Therefore many people at some period of their life find themselves questioning the advantages of rural and urban life. Many villagers would like to abandon their godforsaken place and to move to a big city. All of us know a modern Russian fairytale about a girl or a guy who leaves his home country to conquer Moscow. The fact is that it seems to some people prestigious to live in the very centre of a big city or at least within the precincts of a town. Ironically enough but many townsmen would prefer a placid country to their bustling towns. There have been cases already when some successful well-to-do people moved to countryside to lead a regular life, to breed cattle and poultry, to grow vegetables and orchard trees. Of course there is a great gulf between a country and a city, and it is quite difficult to say at once with no reflections where it is better to live. Though both rural life and urban life offer great benefits, they both have a seemingly equal number of drawbacks. So, on this speech I would like to take a good look at positive and negative sides of living in a city and a country, and to understand where it is better to live.…

There are several advantages of living in the country side. First, the environment in the countryside and the city is very different. It is less pollution and dangerous because there are fewer cars, motorbikes, and factories. Also, there are many trees which offer fresh air to us like living in green home. In the country side you are free to admire the breathtaking landscapes such as huge meadows, peaceful hills or forests. They have more time to relax, and stay healthier. The village people always try to protect their traditional habits and culture. The village has clean air and the environment is very beautiful. Moreover, traffic is not busy and it does not cause accidents as much as in the city. Furthermore, people usually keep eyes on neighbors’ estates; they are helpful to each other. They always react when something strange is happening. Another advantage is the cost of food, it is cheaper and you can afford everything as well.…
