Prelude: Adoption or practice of Ethics in Business is an important aspect for today’s business arena. That is why the following writings regarding this topics will impart what is the approximate time when Businesses understood the necessity of Ethics in business, what are the ways a business should follow to maintain Ethics in Business and last but not least what are the benefits a business organization will get if it follows Ethics in their activities.

Analysis: For a long time Businesses were criticized and chastised due to being capitalist in their activities, which implies focusing mainly on earning profits rather than paying attention to ethical etiquette. Many people believe that businesses are interested in making money and that is the bottom line. But now a days that notion is getting more and more vulnerable due to ethical stances taken by the business organizations.

Before going further it is better to say since when the businesses were more prone to follow ethical conduct in business activities. Basically, the interest in business ethics accelerated dramatically during the 1980s and 1990s, both within major corporations and academies. Today most of the major corporate websites emphasize on commitment to promoting non-economic social values under a variety of different headings such as: ethical codes, social responsibility charters etc.

Good business ethics should be a part of every business. There are many factors to consider. When a company does business with another that is considered unethical, does this makes the first company unethical by association? Some people may say “yes”, the first business has a responsibility and is now a link in the chain of unethical business. Basically business ethics covers a lot of issues, from whether to hire a friend over a better qualified stranger, relationship within organization, to bigger issues such as whether to be an environmental friendly organization but to loose...
