Acne Free and Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Kits are both used to treat and prevent acne. They each have three products per kit, contain similar main ingredients, promises clearer skin within three days, cost the same and are both used by various ethnicities. However, Acne Free contains a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer each have 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, and the Clean and Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit contains a cleanser with 10% benzoyl peroxide, moisturizer with 0.5% salicylic acid and a spot remover with 2% salicylic acid. Products within each kit contain different ingredients and are both made by different companies. Below are comparisons on how each product leaves the skin feeling, variation in cost, and a description of the main ingredients contained within. Ultimately concluding, which kit is better for treating and preventing oily, acne prone skin. In addition, I have been using the Acne Free kit for five years, and not only did it give me clearer skin, but it gave me clear skin in the least amount of time. All products within the Acne Free kit are oil free and do not contain mineral oil, but contain Benzoyl Peroxide, the best acne fighting agreement available in each product.

1. Requires user to clean face day and night 2. Doesn’t remove makeup by itself, but requires user to remove makeup prior to washing ii. Clears acne pimples within three days of use 3. Pimples will dry up and begin to scab 4. Red spots will diminish

5. Use of daytime and nighttime moisturizers are required due to increased dryness of skin when using all products 6. Use of eye cream is required due to increased dryness around eyes b. Cost

iv. Costs between 15-$20 depending on whether there is a sale 7. Coupons are available online, decreasing costs up to five dollars 8. Sales usually occur monthly within each store, dropping the price down to $15 v. Can be purchased at any store that sells face products 9. Stores include at a minimum: Wal-Mart, Target, King Soopers, and Walgreens 10. Can also be purchased online at any stores previously mentioned and on with an additional shipping and handling fee c.
