Accident

Accidents are very common in big cities as there are many modes of transport and road are narrow and over crowded. We hear of them and read about them in newspapers almost daily. Such accidents often result in lose of life and material. These are caused by the carelessness of the drivers and their ignorance and negligence of the traffic rules.

Traffic accidents are on raise these days. Research found that age factor is the major cause of most of the accidents. Some believe that we can control this by restricting the age limit for young and aged ones. However, age is not the only factor of increase in number of accidents. There are many young inexperienced drivers on the road who are very dangerous. They can cause threat to their own and others life on the road. Young drivers have always an anxiety to drive fast. There are many situations where young drivers loose control in critical driving situations. Young people party whole night and have tendency to drink and drive which increased number of accidents. Most of their age range from 16 to 21. Besides that, the drivers are also overtaking dangerously as they cannot wait and waste the valuable time. The road accidents may happen because of following a vehicle too closely. This means that when a vehicle suddenly stops, other vehicle cannot see and directly contact with the vehicle. The authorities are not really paying heed to road conditions. There are some small or big holes on the roads. It is very dangerous especially in night. Nobody can concern about the problem. In conclusion, people should acknowledge the increasing number of car accidents and be cautious of driving safely for THE security of society. Governments are required to concentrate on public education and enhance the penalty policy in order to reduce car accidents.
