Abraham Lincoln was a stronger President because he kept America alive through many challenges. Lincoln was in term during the Civil War, a time of disunity and pain for Americans. He used "leadership" skills, "his commitment to values, and his strong moral fiber" to lead the country through the war, something most Presidents could not have done when faced with that predicament (Stone). After seeing the number of deaths from the war, America became "divided both in purpose and politics," however Lincoln quickly unified the country with his skills, and America was back again (Stone)!
