Abortion subject
Intro The topic of women having abortions can be an intense subject. This subject has always been a debate because the people of society cannot agree on weather “abortions” are right or wrong. In this paper I will give multiple reasons why abortions should be legal for women to have. Abortions are legal and should remain legal because women should have the right to decide what happens with their bodies; some women that become pregnant are not ready emotionally or financially to be mothers; and abortions is the best answer for an unwanted pregnancy. It’s a woman choice I agree abortions should be legal because not all women can afford to take care of a child or give them the necessities they need. I also believe this choice should be up to women. This is the same with any medical procedure, if a person was to have a tumor while pregnant and it was life threatening, what you will choose to do save the baby or the woman. This is where abortions come in. People need not to look at this like a disease and start treating abortions like any other medical procedure. According to the Washington Post NBC/WSJ polls find that, on the 40 anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision, 70 percent of Americans want the landmark abortions rights ruling to stay (Weiner, 2013). Indeed, as we learned from study there are more people who agree to keep this order in place for woman. This alone says it is a safe procedure if done right by experienced physician. Keeping abortions legal is the right choice because this is something that helps women have a choice on what to do with unwanted or unsafe pregnancies. While abortions can offer ways to help women with any kind of issues they may go through while pregnant, another important information women need to know is be safe and observe the physicians to ensure they are well qualified physicians.
Pros of an abortion There are plenty of pros when it comes to this topic. Abortions are not as

Abortion is an on-going debate throughout the United States. Americans divide 50% as pro-choice and 44% on pro-life. (Saad, 2015) Majority of women side with pro-choice, and being a woman myself, I stand with pro-choice. I believe that it’s an individual’s right to decide what they’re doing to their bodies, and no one else should be allowed to deny them of said right. There are many different reasons as to why someone would get an abortion. Whether it be from results of rape, birth control failure, teen pregnancy, or whatever the case may be, every abortion is thought out and no option is an easy option.…

There are many arguments against abortion claiming how unethical it is. Three of those arguments are the following: First, it has been proven that embryos bond to their mother during the first trimester or early in the second trimester (Fletcher pg.3). Second, a mother that has terminated her pregnancy early on has not had adequate time to think about her decision (American Life League 136). Finally, not only is the mother killing that one person, but she is also killing every other human being that would have existed due to that baby being born. (Ronald Reagan Speech-1983) When a person has this point of view towards abortion there is only one option, not having an abortion. Pro-lifer's feel abortion is morally wrong, and that is equivalent to the murder of a living, breathing human…

Abortion is murder of an innocent life, and it is completely wrong in every way. There is no justification that could cover the fact that we are murdering our most defenseless human beings, and if anything we should be doing everything to protect them and keep them safe from danger, but yet some are doing the complete opposite. Abortion should never be an option, and one should never feel like abortion is the only choice because it is not the only choice. One must understand that abortion is not just, and people must come to their senses and realize the true outcomes of aborting a…

With the vast amount of methods of birth control that is available today, abortions to end an unwanted pregnancy should not be an option. Both men and women have a multitude of options for preventing an unwanted or unplanned pregnancy that they are not ready for financially, emotionally or for any reason that they may have. Abortions are available into the third trimester. However, the methods of removing the unborn child or fetus become crueler as the pregnancy progresses. Thus abortions border on moral and ethical boundaries for both women and men.…

First and foremost, abortion allows a woman the right to her own body. Some say that abortion should not be used as a form of contraception, but birth control fails daily. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 6% of all birth controls fail each year. Women on birth control tend to disregard the chance of getting pregnant since the percentage is so low, therefore, the only protection they choose to utilize is the birth control. Women should remain to have the option to abort an undesired fetus. Along with contraception issues, there are other factors to reason with to keep abortion legal.…

1.21 million women get abortions in the US each year (BMC Women’s Health). Many factors contribute to this, including timing, health of mother and/or fetus, and the ability to provide a quality life. Abortion procedures will be performed differently, depending on the duration of the pregnancy. Further complications could also lead to a different type of procedure being performed. Abortion, in America, was not a legal practice until 1973, in the ‘Roe v. Wade’ case (Abortion Wars). The abortion process is very complex, with many details and sides, and women should have the right to it, and their life.…
