The purpose of this paper is to show the weaknesses, invalidity, and irrelevancy of those arguments which have such flaws, on the pro side of the abortion issue, and to show what the more important, relevant, and valid issues are in deciding the rightness or wrongness of abortion. Abortion is often debated as a women's rights issue or as a rights issue for the unborn. It is neither. It would be wrong to protect women's rights by simply ignoring the case for the unborn; and it would be wrong to protect the unborns' rights by simply ignoring the case for women. Abortion means ending a pregnancy before the fetus can live independently outside the mother. If abortion happens spontaneously before 24 weeks of pregnancy, it is called a miscarriage. An induced abortion is caused deliberately in order to end the pregnancy. ("Abortion," 2013) The type of abortion procedure used in elective pregnancy termination is primarily determined by how far a woman is into pregnancy. During the half of first trimester, the baby is called “embryo”; this means you are not killing a human being. Scientists agreed that this period of time is the moral and ethical time to have an abortion. However passing the half of the first trimester, the embryo is now called “fetus”, this means it is developing organs, and the body is getting in shape. During the 10th week the fetus in now called “baby”; this means the baby can feel, listen and all of the organs are completely developed. ("Fetal development," 2013) Having an abortion during or passing the 10th week is considered an unmoral thing to do because now you are killing a human being. This doesn’t mean that abortion is bad or you should be against it. Nowadays abortion is getting legalized around the world. Some human beings are doing unmoral and terrible things, like rape for example. Abortion has always been a very delicate issue around the world and now all the powerful countries are changing laws to give raped women a better life. Here are the different types of abortion that can be done:

“Medications: It is one of the safest options of abortion. Doctor will prescribe abortion pill called mifepristone which blocks progesterone, this hormone is responsible for making the lining of uterus. Suction Aspiration: In this method of abortion a suction is used to suck out the fetus and placenta. Dilation And Curettage: A hook shaped knife called curette is used to cut the placenta and baby into pieces. Once the baby is cut into small pieces they are scraped out through the cervix and discarded. Dilation And Execution: Doctor may also use a pair of forceps to grasp the fetus and pull it out of the cervix. Many a times the skull and spine of the baby should be crushed before pulling it out. Salt Poisoning: A salt solution is injected in the womb through mother’s abdomen. The salt acts as a poison to the baby and it dies within an hour. Partial Birth Abortion:  The baby is forcibly pulled out of the birth canal, except the head. Scissors are inserted in the baby’s head and then it is opened to enlarge the skull. The brain is sucked out with the help of suction catheter.” ("Different types of," 2013) .

In addition, here is a chart of the most powerful countries in the world and Mexico showing the in which cases you can have an abortion. COUNTRY| CASES IN WHICH ABORTION IS PERMITTED.|
United States| Abortion is permitted in cases of rape or incest. In this country the laws are constantly changing. If you have an abortion passing the first trimester it is considered a crime.| Japan| Abortion permitted in cases of rape.|...
