Abortion is the most common surgical procedure in the United States. Nearly 4,000 a day, 109,000 a month, 1.3 million a year (CDC). This represents the single greatest atrocity the world has ever known. Abortion is a crime against humanity; it harms the mother and kills the baby. Society is worse because of it, not better. Millions of women are hurt physically, emotionally, and spiritually. A sector of the feminist movement and Planned Parenthood has brain washed the American Public into thinking that abortion is the best thing that happened to women; that finally women are reaching equality with men. They have successfully fed the public the idea that abortion is a woman’s choice and nobody but the woman can decide if the fetus or embryo lives or dies. The National Organization for Women repeatedly refers to abortion as the most fundamental right of women, more important even than the right to vote and the right to free speech. According to the pro-choice supporters, abortion is about women, not babies. “Choice” has become the foundation of its political justification
