There are many cultures and diversity in the world today.   We have everything from poor third world countries to religious taboo.   I however decided to get a new experience from the Catholic Church.   I have been too many churches and have been around many religions, but I had never been to a Catholic Church until just recently.
My aunts Betty had me working in the yard Saturday and proposed that I stay the night with her and go to Church the next day.   I was hesitant at first because I had never been to her church, but I decided I would go to see what it was like and because she said there was free food afterword’s.   Sunday morning arrived early as Betty woke me up to get ready to go.   I jumped into my clothes and snatched an apple bar and then we headed out to the car.
When arriving at the Church, I noticed something different right away.   Before anyone entered the main part of the church, they dipped their fingers in water and made the movements of the holy cross.   Betty told me I didn’t have to do this since I was not a part of the church.   After we came in I could hear a hymn being played on an organ which was very different from what I was used to since all the churches I had gone to play the organ at the end of service.   After every one had entered and found a seat they were conferrable in the service started.   We all sat there silent as the candle carriers walked in and behind them was the Priest carrying the bible and behind him another person comes in carrying a cross.  
Once everyone is in place and at the altar a passage called the lectionary is read by the priest.   After reading this passage he talks about it and tells us what we should learn from it and how we can use it to affect our lives.   Then after the Priest has given his speech the Lector reads from the Old Testament bible.   After the reading is done there is a singing response which is called a psalm that is done by the choir of the church.   Then we went back to the book and listened to a...
