Victoria Beckham, former singer of the iconic music group the spice girls has evolved into a fashion maven, boasting her own fashion line that both A-listers and average fashionistas are spotted wearing. Celebrities such as Hedi Klum, Jennifer Hudson, Taylor swift, and Brooke shields just to name a few. Have sported Victoria Beckhmans figure flattering dresses and skirts. Shirtdresses, Sheath dresses, peplum tops in and asymmetrical cutouts can be flattering on any body type. Beckham’s collection can appeal to any woman of size whether full figured, curvy or slim. I think Beckham is very important in the sense that she personifies classic style and class, she has vowed to no longer perform with the Spice Girls. “Victoria has shaken off her Posh Spice nickname to become an established figure in the fashion world and has apparently told the other girls she has no future in music.” Beckham is one of the few celebrity designers who actually consistently wear their own clothes from their own fashion line. She is mostly known for her sky high stilettos and curve hugging dresses. Her fashion line is a reflection of her style and who else better to model them than Victoria herself? When she isn’t sporting her own designs she can usually be spotted wearing Loubtouins, Chanel and Alexander McQueen. Since the launch of her fashion line in 2008, Beckham has been swiftly gaining success with her personal style and line. In 2011, she won the Designer Brand Award at the British Fashion Awards. An article in Vogue reviewing her Fall 2012 collection came to the conclusion that “she has well-made clothes, and a strong identity already.” Beckham was also guest editor on Glamour’s annual September Fashion issue. As she proudly stated in the magazibe “I’m often asked, if I weren’t designing what would I do…I’d be a fashion editor.
