• If there is a relationship in between the development of 3D industry and the development of film industry then increasing development of 3D industry will cause the development of film industry.



3D Industry
1960-1970

A Film Called Boeing Man was created using computers to animate and design certain models. William Fetter was the director of the Boieng man film.(Ehow.com,2011)

1970-1980
One of the first displays of computer animation was Future world (1976), which included an animation of a human face and hand, produced by Ed Catmull and Fred Parke at the University of Utah.

The first movie to use 3D computer animation was the iconic film Star Wars, in 1977.   A 3D wire frame view of the Death Star trench was depicted as a training aid for rebel pilots.   The animation was quite basic, and did not have any kind of textures or shading applied to the walls of the trench.
