        In taking this course of ORGANIZATIONAL ETHICS AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, I honestly had some hesitation in the beginning as I did not know what I would learn or expect to learn with this course. Upon exiting this course I find that I look at my morals and values much more than before. My personal ethics and morals are kind of like a guide which set rules for knowing the difference between right and wrong decisions. In addition to those rules I also do the following; treat everyone fairly, look at all situations clearly and the decision based on the right thing to do based on the situation and not allowing preferential treatment to get in the way in order to do what is right. This course shaped my views on ethics and morals as it dealt with employees and workplaces which give a more detailed look of how companies should treat employees in all situations and not provide favoritism because of a personal relationship.   I now look at businesses in a different light and now understand the policies which they stand for and the reason why   code of ethics are in place and how not following the code of   ethics can affect a company badly. For example, companies have a standard policy to keep employees off the internet for personal use at work as this increases production of work amongst employees, also keep information from customer from being compromised which lessens the risks of legal action. At my workplace, I now make sure that I follow all company rules and policies, not that I did not before, but I know understand their importance and reasons.   This class has been a great reference tool which will help me make better decisions to resolve any conflict before me rather is personal or business.
