Once upon a time, life a child named Jason. Jason lived in a small town. He knew the news only from TV or Radio. He lived as a farmer and lumberjack. He lived happily. He got TV and electrical charge from the government. Three years ago, the small towns planted from the government to be modernize. But, the economic crisis made government confuse to modernize this small town. So, Jason only have TV and Radio from the government. Jason liked it very much. He always brings it everywhere he goes.
One day, Jason was watching his TV. He saw Yankees team was playing baseball fighting there enemies, Red Sox. He learnt that awesome game and then he knew that it was baseball. Start from that time, he liked to play baseball or other activity that hitting something. So, he liked more cutting trees with baseball style. He used his own style and sometimes he imitated the professional baseball players’ style. He also liked to throw stone. He imagined that he was the pitcher for New York Yankees team. Then, he threw the stone as far as he could.
Jason always plays “baseball” every morning. He asked his friends to play baseball with him. First, they thought that it was a crazy sport. But, as the time pass, they liked it. They played baseball with their different version. Because of the area was small, they used wood for the bat and fruit for the ball. They also used cotton that covered with banana leaf for the glove. This was baseball in Jason’s town.
One day, in Jason small town, there were a disaster. There will be no more rain for 6 months. The villager needs money for bought some water. Suddenly, Jason remembered the TV ads that told of tournament for baseball competition and the prize was $ 3,000. He thought, it will be much money for their neighborhood. So, he asked his friends to join the competition. Actually, his friends also wanted to join the competition. But, they afraid to lost from the other team.
